Jalna District
History:
Jalna was once part of the Prince's Kingdom of Hyderabad. After India's independence in 1947, it became part of the Aurangabad district. On May 1, 1981, the current district was formed from Jalna, Bocardin, Jafrabad, Talka in the Aurangabad district and Partur Talca in the Parbhani district. This district was formed during the tenure of Prime Minister Abdul Lehmann Anturei. Jalna had its roots in the days of Rama, and then struggled with partitions and everything else they saw. Today it is an important part of the country as well as the district.
