Jhatari is a quite small village in the Himalayas within the Dugdda block of the Kotdwara tehsil of the Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand. The village is part of Jhatari Gram Panchayat and is surrounded by forests, terraced agricultural land and rural Garhwali settlements. The 2011 census shows that one hundred and twenty-five people lived in 36 houses in Jhatari. The site of the village is spread over 115.59 acres.
